About the event
You could be eligible for a FREE space if you were aged over 19 on or before 31st July 2022, live in our catchment area and haven't received funded support from us within the last year. Contact us to find out if you are eligible for a FREE space before you book. If you are not eligible, your ticket will cost £20. You can call us to pay over the phone, or pay on the day, after you have booked your space.
This two hour interactive session, taking place at The Learning Shop, will include:
CV Writing and Job Applications
Learn how to write an attention grabbing CV, understand what employers are looking and how to make an impact on your job applications.
Use our Jobsite
Find out how to register for an account on our FREE jobsite and apply for vacancies, giving you the knowledge and confidence to use it.
CV Review
You will be given the chance to have a one to one session with Janet, our Employability Instructor, who will support you by reviewing your current CV and give you tips on how to improve it.
Interview Techniques
We can help you control your nerves, highlight your strengths, and create a great first impression during an interview. You will learn how to ask and answer convincing interview questions, learn techniques to control your interview nerves and prepare yourself for different styles of interview.
