Designed to provide an introduction to the topic of Visual Merchandising, the course will encourage you to think creatively and commercially about retail space, providing an insight into store window design and effective in-store displays.

History of Visual Merchandising
The origins of Visual Merchandising: A timeline showcasing examples of VM through the decades, influential figures in the 20th Century - who created the concept of displaying products as a sales tool?
Themes within window displays
Prime selling spaces in a retail store - and why VM is such a relevant skill in retail and hospitality today
Principles of Design in Visual Merchandising:
Creatively merchandising products within retail and e-commerce
Identifying the 5 key principles of design
Using lighting and signage effectively in a retail environment
The workshop is a great fun packed day of learning.
We will provide a certificate for completing the course, which is endorsed by The Learning Shop, North Kent College and Bluewater, and will be a great addition for personal development and to add to a CV.
